The BCP® device consists of two plates equipped with grooves and three clamping bolts. The cable clamp allows the figure-8 copper cables used by ORANGE to be stopped, by separating the carrier from the port. At the time of application, it is also necessary to use a 30/04 lantern tensioner and a 30/03 heart lug. As the carrier has also been cut, grounding or carrier continuity is required.
This cable tie is also used to stop the guy wires when reinforcing wood or metal telecom supports.
