The BCP® Tight Buffered Distribution Cable has the fibres bundled together, with an outer cable jacket of the cable protecting them. The buffered fibre in distribution cable is 900μm, which is smaller in size and costs less than breakout cable. Distribution cable is usually installed in intra-building backbone and inter-building campus locations.
